Hello everyone! Welcome to my fundraising page.
My name is Alice Moron (hence the title ;) ) and I am part of a team at UCL who, in August 2020, will be climbing the highest mountain in Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro! Standing at 5,895 meters, Kili is the world's tallest freestanding mountain and will be an exhilarating and tough challenge to accomplish.
I am doing this to support the brilliant and invaluable charity Hope for Children by raising money through this page, but also by organizing raffles, snack sales, participating in street collections etc.
Hope for Children’s goal is to improve vulnerable children's access to education and healthcare and empower families to support themselves, who the funding of larger charities does not reach. They do this in a number of ways. They fund sports days and community projects in the Philippines, run schools in Tanzania, and fight child labour in Ghana. They also provide grants to disadvantaged families and carers of disabled children within the UK.
I’m determined to help them by raising awareness of their amazing work and give them the necessary funding they need to continue doing this!
As you can see, I’ve set myself the ambitious fundraising target of £2,590. Any donation, big or small (no but seriously, every penny counts), would be appreciated, even by spreading the word of Hope for Children, you can have a massive impact.
If you are interested in this organization and to support me on my journey, don’t hesitate to click the 'Give Now' button, all of the donations will go to Hope for Children.
So thank you for your support!
